As Aston Martin neared the end of production of their V8, a limited number of cars were produced with the ‘S’ suffix.
The V8S was used as a forerunner to the much praised and sought-after Oscar India/V8 Vantage, featuring improved power, handling, comfort and reliability.
With the Oscar India/V8 Vantage having seen huge price increases over recent years, prices for these cars are now out of reach for many, and enthusiasts are now tipping the V8S as the ‘next big thing’.
With only 38 cars produced, this V8S was spec’d in the attractive combination of Dubonet red with Black leather, RHD and a ZF manual gearbox,
Being part of a large private collection and having covered 78,000 miles, the service history and documentation can only be described as exhaustive, representing an excellent opportunity for the investor and enthusiast alike.
Invoices state that the car underwent a light restoration in 1996, however despite the relatively small distance covered since then, it wore a patina that despite being acceptable, we decided to fully restore the car to its former showroom glory.
