This stunning Testarossa is a very rare, early car which was delivered new on 1st February 1986 by GreyPaul Motors Ferrari Ltd.
The car features only one outside mirror and knock-off wheels.
Commonly referred to as the ‘flying mirror’ or ‘Monospecchio’, this is one of the most sought-after of all the TR’s. Furthermore, this car is a UK delivered, RHD car, making it all the more rare with only circa 40 RHD examples worldwide.
Designed by Pininfarina and boasting a rear mid mounted flat V12 coupled with a 5 speed transmission, this Testarossa is superbly presented in classic Rossa red. The exterior paintwork carries no fading, dents or scratches.
As with many Monospecchio cars, this car has had a second flying mirror added to the passenger side. Another non-standard addition is the front chin spoiler featuring two air inlets instead of one, however the original spoiler is supplied with the car.
The car sports a Larrini exhaust which gives a tremendous sound during acceleration.
The interior is bright red and is as 80’s as can be. It is however, another non-original element on the car, and something that the next owner might wish to change back to standard Crema and black trim.
Having covered 56,500 miles, the car is supplied complete with a large history folder and stamped service booklet with 12 stamps, along with the original leather wallet., tools, jack kit and knock-off wheel brace. Also within the vehicles history folder are many previously issued MOT test certificates and old V5 documents. One copy clearly showing ‘Mr Peter Waterman’ of ‘All boys music Ltd’ as being the registered keeper.
The car will be sold with a full major service including belts.
