1973 (M) Jaguar E-Type Series 3 OTS Roadster

1973 Jaguar E-Type Series 3 OTS Roadster with manual gearbox finished in arguably the best colour combination of Indigo Blue with a navy blue mohair roof and red leather interior.

Acquired by its last former keeper in 2002, this matching numbers E-Type was to be used extensively on road trips across Europe during the next 19 years of ownership.

Prior to those trips, in 2004, this UK-RHD car was entrusted to Overtun Vehicles Overhauls for a full restoration at a cost of £35k (equivalent to approximately £70K today).

Restoration works included a body-off rebuild, panel alignment, bare-metal repaint retaining original engine and gearbox, full interior re-trim in Connelly Leather by Rolls Royce trained trimmer, new carpers including boot and new mohair roof, newly galvanised roof frame, chrome wire wheels, new stub axles, upgraded brakes, lights, ignition, distributor, and stainless exhaust. All original brightwork was re-chromed and a Kenlow fan fitted. 

Today, the car remains truly a sight to behold. The paintwork, the chrome, interior, roof, dashboard and engine bay present brilliantly.

On the move, the silky smooth V12 moves the car along with ease, enhanced by direct gear changes and an easy clutch.

With only 3 previous keepers and a warranted 48k miles, this superb E-type will be supplied with 2 keys, its impressively extensive history folder, a new no-advisory MOT, and a 12-month market-leading extendable warranty.

Prior to release, the car will also be freshly serviced and subjected to our exhaustive pre-delivery inspection.
